Catania is an ancient port city on the east coast of Sicily. It is situated at the foot of Mount Etna, an active volcano with paths leading up to its summit. The city's large central square, Piazza del Duomo, features the picturesque Fountain of the Elephant and the richly decorated Cathedral. In the south-western corner of the square, La Pescheria, the weekday fish market, is a bustling spectacle surrounded by restaurants serving seafood.

Comfortable and very spacious rooms. Our bathroom were bigger than many other hotel rooms we have stayed in. Everything were clean and well organized. The location is great. Most of the best sights and piazza’s in Catania are within a couple of minutes walk, and it is easy to reach bus stops, taxi stands and train station. The host was very kind and helpful, and took care to make all practical sides of check in and check out run smoothly while she also made us feel welcome. All in all a lovely experience, and we only whish we had planned a longer stay.

Ho soggiornato presso il Bed and Breakfast Liodoro a Catania dal 6 al 9 ottobre e ho conosciuto Serena, una ragazza stupenda, mi ha accolto talmente bene che mi ha fatto sentire come a casa. L’appartamento che avevo prenotato è stupendo, pulito e ammobiliato con estrema cura, per non parlare della posizione a due passi dal duomo e dal centro. Ci tornerò sicuramente!!!!

lovely large room and bathroom in the centre. Really helpful service and excellent advice for visits, restaurants etc. Highly recommend, would def revisit. (Only down-side is this side street is quite busy, but double doors and ac cut out noise quite well.)

B&B collocato in un palazzo storico, quindi con struttura e camere un po’ retrò. La posizione è molto buona, si arriva al duomo in 5 minuti e attorno ci sono vari servizi, anche di ristorazione. Ottima pulizia, condizionatore funzionante, camera con il necessario per il soggiorno. La differenza la fanno tutte le proposte esperienziali che Serena ci ha offerto, grazie a svariate convenzioni e attività davvero accattivanti! La cura dell’ospite è sempre messa in primo piano e la passione si vede benissimo! Bella esperienza, grazie per questi giorni insieme!
